WARSAW - Poland as the sixth largest country in the European Union (EU) is becoming a target of the Government of Indonesia, is still a lot of potential that can be extracted from the two countries' bilateral relations.
 
Indonesia-Poland has had diplomatic relations for 60 years. Both countries also have to foster cooperation in various fields.
 
"Indonesia and Poland want to increase people-to-people contact in order to encourage the development of strategic cooperation in various fields for the welfare of the people of both countries," said Director General of America and Europe, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Triansuayah Dian Djani, in a press statement received Okezone , Wednesday (17/06/2015).

The value of trade between Indonesia and Poland in 2014 amounted to USD539 million with a surplus on the Indonesian side of USD252 million.
